The lecturer's list to do

Assalamualaikum & Hi.

Some people ask me how do you cater your life as lecturer and researcher at the same time. At first, when i did accept the offer of being a lecturer, my perception was yeah i can do this cause i love it so much dealing with human and giving motivation. So my first intention was i'd like to share from heart, try to touch and heals people's heart.

Gosh, it's not that easy. it's a long list to do that i need to accomplish instead of giving lecture.

Lecturer's to do lists:
1. Prepare the material that need to be taught in the class.
2. Prepare the question for lab tests, quizzes, midterm and final exam.
3. Marking the exam paper
4. Key in mark in the system
5. Journal and conference paper at least 4 journals a year
5. Data collection
6. Analysis of the data
7. Do research group task (develop website, system and etc)
8. Attend meeting which is so many meeting (Department's meeting, Faculty's meeting, Research group meeting - if you have 5 Research group, could you imagine how many meeting need to be attended.
9. Act as committee for faculty's program or conference
10. Attend talk that could be various type of talk - compulsory and non-compulsory.
11. Supervisor for Final Year Project, degree student, Masters and PhDs students.
12. Become an examiner for the FYP, proposal defense and viva.
13. Read the journal, FYP's technical report, thesis
14. Visit industrial attachment student 

Too many to be listed. 

So would it be my destiny or chosen to be in this path?

Just wanna update you guys about this World Quran Hour.

In shaa Allah it will happen on 11 Sept 2016 (9 Zulhijjah 1437H).

Let's recite Quran for an hour for that day, just choose your favorite surah and understand the meaning of each verse.

In shaa Allah i'll be joining Muslimah group from Masjid Al-Tirmizi, Taman Sri Sentosa, Petaling Jaya.

It's been a while since my last update. I just miss blogging so much.

Feels like wanna share something about my life. I'm about to finish my PhD study. Wish me luck and hope everything goes as what i've planned before.

Marriage life? Alhamdulillah though we've quarrelled so much these days. But everything seems back to the right place. It makes the relationship became stronger. yeah! Thanks Allah.

The lyrics is just so meaningful in what had happened in my life. I've lost contact with several of important people in my life. Every single day I miss them so much but I just can't do anything. Wish I could listen to their voice if I cant see them or maybe text them. I just wanted to confess that I really miss you guys. Seriously! I'm sorry for breaking your heart. You're apart of my soul and life. I just can't forget the moment we grow together.

Oh, Allah please take care of them and prevent them from anything that could harm them.

Assalamualaikum and hello.

So how's ur raya? Selamat hari raya maaf zahir dan batin. kosong-kosong.Raya tahun ni balik melaka, kampung ibu mertua. Memang happening betul org2 melaka ni.
Balik kampung lepas solat jumaat. Petang sampai kampung Ramuan China Besar.Jalan ok, x jem langsung. 

Setiap kali jumpa sedara mara, mesti ada soalan2 wajib. So tahun ni, kene lah soalan bila nak bertiga? Sy jwb tahun depan.hihi..tapi rezeki Allah mana nak tahu. Then, diorg tanya pulak bila nak abis study. Kali ni mcm rasa viva pulak, details betul diorg tanya pasal research sy. hihihi.So sy jwb gak abis tahun depan. So semua tahun depan. In shaa Allah.

::Driving::

Assalamualaikum and Hello.

Harini 1st time drive pergi surau dengan mak. Selama hampir setahun peram lesen. Tiba2 hujung ramadhan ni baru ada kekuatan nak drive kereta. Husband pulak izinkan. So, beranilah nak bawak.
Kalau husband ada kat sebelah confirm dapat ceramah free. Itu tak kene ini tak kene. Tapi tadi yang duk sebelah mak..so mak redha je sy bawak kereta macamana.

Yes, m a new driver! Side mirror baru perasan tak bukak bila dah nak dekat sampai rumah. Tu pun sebab mak tegur, side mirror ni memang tak bukak ke? Kalau ada husband sy ni. confirm dah bertan2 kene bebel.

But it was a great experience for me as a new driver. Husband selalu pesan before nak drive make sure check semua..lampu, side mirror..tapi sebab kelam kabut excited sgt nak drive sampai lupa nak bukak side mirror..huhuhu..careless betul! 

Tapi dah ada keyakinan nak drive kereta, lepas ni boleh lah pergi beraktiviti dengan mak berdua je. Tak payah suruh husband hantar.'

Saja nak cerita 1st experience driving sendiri. Selalu sy drive husband kat sebelah. Dia yang bagi arahan itu ini. So, moral of the story, jgn careless!:)BTW, apa experience u all bila 1st time drive kereta. Mind to share?

::Kuih Raya::

Assalamualaikum and Hello.

Kuih Kuih..Kuih Raya! 

Nak mengimbau kenangan beberapa tahun lalu, yang saya adalah seorang pembuat kuih raya tegar..tiap tahun mesti buat..tak pernah miss..tapi tu dulu..sekarang dah pencen..pencen awal..tangan pun dah keras nak buat kuih raya..

Tapi hari ini dalam sejarah, saya buat kuih raya. Husband tukang potong badam. Anak buah tolong tabur coloured rice. Tapi tengah2 nak duk buat, mak kata boleh ke kau buat ni. Nanti tak jadi. Nasib baik husband kate bagi semangat mak..baru boleh jadi..hihihi..jadi tak jadi lain cerita yang penting cuba..hihihihi..

Beli bahan2 dah berapa hari tapi baru hari ni terpanggil nak buat kuih raya..Kuih paling tersenang sekali..tadaaa..cornflake madu..4 je bahan nak buat kuih ni..Meh share sikit resepi..hihihi

Bahan2:

150gram butter

3 sudu gula pasir

8 sudu madu

275g cornflake

Badam cincang (sangan dulu)

Walnut

Cara membuat:

1. Masukkan butter dalam kuali dengan api yang kecil. Kacau sehingga cair.

2. Masukkan pula gula pasir dan kacau sehingga cair.

3. Kemudian, masukkan madu, gaul hingga sebati.

4. Matikan api dan masukkan cornflake.

5. Masukkan cornflake madu dalam bekas dan taburkan coloured rice.

275g cornflake boleh dapat dalam 75 biji tapi sy guna bekas yang besar. Mungkin kalau guna bekas yang kecil, boleh dapat lagi banyak.

 

Easy peasy!Bila kuih dah siap. Mak suruh buat lagi esok..hahahaha..Akhirnya mak yakin dengan kebolehan menantu dia..hihihi..Bila dah tengok kuih dalam balang, rasa nak buat lagi kuih..hihihi..seronok, semangat nak beraya..Kamu semua buat kuih apa tahun ni?

:: Road to Bali::

Assalamualaikum and Hello.

I have to attend another conference in Bali which has been held on 28th May 2015. It was my first time in Bali and I am expecting a fantastic view for honeymoon in Bali. But it was true that Bali has a very nice scenery and a lot of attractive places to be visited. My husband and I stayed there for 6 days.

In Bali, it's quite easy to get the transport. I rent a car with tourist guide for 3 days. One day it cost only 350idr. I did survey several tourist guide but this is the cheapest. Most of other tourist guide will offer 500idr to 600idr. Pak Isme only serve the Muslim tourist especially from Malaysia. If you wanted to rent a car at Bali, do contact him. This is the cheapest price at a very good service. Our tourist guide, named Roy. He's very friendly and polite. He has brought us to the several tourism places in Bali. Let the pictures tell you more about Bali.

 One of the place that you should visit is to see the Barongan Dance. This is the traditional dance from Bali. The show is 1 hour and the entrance fee is 100idr.

 We have the chances to visit hard rock cafe Bali. It was just nearby our hotel. We bought t-shirt and fridge magnet for souvenir.

  In Bali, we stayed at Radha Bali Hotel. It cost like RM150 per night.

We had so much fun dinner at Jimbaran Bay Seafood, I even having two times dinner here. Just to taste the lobster. It cost 300idr for the food package with fish, shrimp, losbster and drinks. 

Shopping time! It was a shopping paradise because the price is so cheap. You can get the fridge magnet for only 50 cent.This Krishna shop open 24 hours. So no worries, you will have enough time to shop.

Next, we went to Tanah Lot Temple and coffee plantations. You should try kopi luwak which we can only get it in Indonesia. The temple view was so nice. It was located near to the beach, so we can see sunset from the temple.

I just fall in love with Bali because of the places and people there. They are very friendly.

::Tazkirah with Imam Muda Ashraf::

Assalamualaikum and Hello.

Alhamdulillah kita berada dalam 22 Ramadhan. Masa berlalu begitu cepat sehinggakan kita tak terasa Ramadhan semakin berlalu meninggalkan kita. Saya pasti akan merindui Ramadhan kali ini.Anyway, semalam saya pergi ke Surau Alhusna untuk terawikh. Biasanya, mereka akan melakukan terawikh dan witir sebelum meneruskan dengan tazkirah. Saya teruja untuk pergi terawikh semalam, sebab pertama kerana imam terawikh yang boleh membuatkan air mata saya jatuh. Sungguh merdu suara Imam tu. Aduh tersentuh hati. Dan sebab kedua adalah kerana tazkirah yang akan disampaikan oleh Imam Muda Ashraf.


Ia adalah kali pertama saya tengok Imam Muda Ashraf secara live. Biasanya saya hanya mendengar tazkirah pendek beliau di Sinar.fm. Excited rasa nak dengar tazkirah beliau. Sebab tazkirah pendek yang dekat Sinar.fm tu pun sedap dan padu isinya. Apatah lagi tazkirah selama hampir 45 minit ini. Itu 1st impression sy terhadap beliau. Tak dengar lagi tu. hihihi.Excited punya pasal.


Wow, subhanallah. Memang padu isi tazkirah Imam muda Ahsraf. Mulanya beliau bercerita tentang malam lailatul qadar. Rasa seronok dengar. Rasa macam bersemangat nak cari malam lailatul Qadar. Macamana sahabat2 nabi bersungguh2 mencari malam lailatul Qadar. Bayangkan Malaikat turun beramai2 pada malam lailatul Qadar dan doa kita dimakbulkan Allah pada malam tersebut.  Allahuakhbar.

Kemudian beliau bercerita pula tentang kelebihan2 surah2 dalam Al-Quran. Kita ni kalau menangis kerana membaca Kalam Allah, Allah haramkan kita dimamah api neraka. Tapi bukan semua dapat nangis menghayati kalam Allah. Dan bagaimana kisah beberapa orang yang masuk Islam dengan membaca kalam Allah. Antaranya Cat Steven yang memeluk agama Islam setelah membaca Surah Yusuf. Apa keistimewaan Surah Yusuf sampai pintu hatinya terbuka untuk memeluk Islam. Memang menakjubkan Al-Quran ni. Maka dengan itu, marilah kita beramai2 mendekatkan diri dengan kalam Allah ini.

Dan yang akhirnya beliau kongsikan bacaan surah Al-Fajr yang membuatkan saya menitiskan air mata. Bacaan Surah Al-Fajr oleh mishary alafasy rashid. Masya Allah memang meruntun jiwa. Boleh tgk kat utube video bacaan beliau.

Itulah serba sedikit tazkirah yang dikongsikan oleh Imam Muda Ashraf. Memang bestlah tazkirah beliau. Santai je. Seronok dengar. Saya teringin nak dengar live ceramah Ustaz Kazim Elias. Sebab beliau pun berceramah santai jer. Mudah diterima penyampaian beliau. Mungkin satu hari nanti.

So, sebelum balik tu mak sy insist nak bergambar dengan Imam Muda Ashraf. Malu jugak, sebab mak saya sorang je yang nak bergambar dengan beliau. Mak sy memang sempoi je.hihihi. Tapi Imam Muda Ashraf cool jer.   

Sepanjang Ramadhan, ini tazkirah paling best dan menusuk kalbu. Terima kasih ustaz. Apapun sy berdoa agar kita semua dikurniakan malam lailatul Qadar. In shaa Allah.

::Road to Spain (Barcelona)::

Assalamualaikum and Hello.

My second part travelling to Spain. Next destination is Barcelona. After staying at Madrid for 6 days, my husband and I then travelling to Barcelona. We stayed 5 days at Barcelona. We went there by bus and it took 8 hours to reach Barcelona from Madrid. The bus stopped at Zaragoza to pick up other passengers and change driver. There are several alternatives to go to Barcelona, either by train or flight but we choose bus because it is much easier and cheaper than others. 

We stayed at NH Barcelona Stadium Hotel. As referred to the name, yes the hotel is located near to Camp Nou Stadium (Barcelona Football Club Stadium). My husband is the fanatic fan of FCB and that is why we choose to stay here. We can reach the stadium by walking. So the first place that we visited was Camp Nou Stadium. It cost 23 euro per entry. Same as Estadio Santiago Bernabeu, Madrid, they also showing the trophies in Camp Nou but not as much as in Madrid. From my experience, estadio santiago bernabeu tour is much better than camp nou tour.

 

Next, we went to Plaza De Catalunya. It was the center of Barcelona city. We could get the Barcelona City Tour Hop On Hop Off Buses to round the city of Barcelona. It cost 27 euro but we can use the ticket for the whole day. It end until 7.00pm.

  

 

 
 And last but not least the shopping time. We could buy so much souvenir at Barcelona since we have bought so many souvenir at Madrid. Enough for our family members. hihihi..:) The price is not much different from Madrid but in Madrid we have more choices for the souvenirs compared to here in Las Ramblas, Barcelona.

Travel to Spain, make us realize how small is ringgit (MYR) compared to euro. We have spent more than 20k for this tour but it was a great experience and unforgettable memory. Wish to travel to some other country next time. In shaa Allah.
